Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end architecture across enterprise data sources, analytics libraries, integration layers, AI agents, and workflow builders.
- Define scalable API, event-flow, integration, reliability, performance, resilience, and non-functional requirement patterns.
- Design RAG, semantic-layer, metadata, vector-search, agent-memory, context, orchestration, evaluation, and observability architectures.
- Govern LLM provider strategy, model and prompt lifecycle management, cost controls, multi-tenancy, authorization, privacy, auditability, and AI threat modeling.
- Lead architecture roadmaps, reference architectures, ADRs, design reviews, technical standards, delivery planning, troubleshooting, and technical mentoring.
- Stay hands-on 30–50% by building reference implementations, prototyping risky areas, and unblocking complex engineering work.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience building production software, including at least 3 years as a tech lead or solutions architect on a data, analytics, or AI platform.
- Expert-level Python and working knowledge of TypeScript and Node.js for full-stack reviews.
- Production experience with AWS and/or Azure, cloud data warehouses, SQL, data modeling, vector stores, and retrieval systems.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, agent frameworks, Model Context Protocol, function-calling, LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, or agent SDKs.
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems, asynchronous patterns, scalability, observability, resilience, secure-by-design architecture, and API or contract governance.
- Preferred experience includes production AI agents or copilots, Responsible AI and model governance, multi-tenant platforms, LLM FinOps, industrial data ecosystems, and open-source or internal-tools contributions.
