Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain Akeneo product, asset, category, channel, locale, and reference entities.
  • Develop workflows, validation rules, enrichment processes, governance controls, custom Akeneo applications, extensions, and automation solutions.
  • Design and support integrations between Akeneo and PIM, MDM, SDM, DAM, ERP, supplier management, and eCommerce systems.
  • Build REST API, event-driven, data synchronization, import, export, and migration solutions.
  • Monitor platform health and integration pipelines, troubleshoot production issues, and support upgrades and performance optimization.
  • Maintain product data quality, consistency, modeling, governance, documentation, and operational support procedures.
  • Collaborate with architects, product managers, business stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional product teams.
  • Participate in code reviews and Agile product delivery activities, and mentor team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of software development experience.
  • 2+ years of hands-on Akeneo PIM implementation, development, or administration experience.
  • Experience developing enterprise applications with Java and/or Python.
  • Experience with REST APIs, JSON, web services, Git-based source control, and modern software development practices.
  • Preferred experience with Akeneo SaaS or Serenity editions and integrations involving MDM, DAM, ERP, supplier management, or eCommerce platforms.
  • Preferred knowledge of AWS cloud services, event-driven architectures, product data modeling, data governance, data quality management, and cloud-native application development.
  • Preferred experience supporting large-scale global product catalogs and multilingual product content.
