Responsibilities
- Partner with GTM leadership and Account Executives to design and execute engagement strategies across an assigned territory.
- Serve as a trusted Solutions Architect and product champion who builds technical credibility and drives Lakebase adoption.
- Develop and deliver customer presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and technical collateral.
- Translate field-derived customer insights into strategic product and engineering roadmap recommendations.
- Act as the tier-three escalation point for complex technical challenges in mission-critical customer environments.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts across GTM, R&D, Product, Engineering, GSIs, and consulting partners.
Requirements
- 10+ years of transactional database and OLTP expertise across engineering, product development, administration, and pre-sales.
- 6+ years of customer-facing, pre-sales, or consulting experience influencing technical executives and driving product adoption.
- Experience architecting transactional data solutions within Big Data, Lakehouse, and AI ecosystems.
- Infrastructure, platform, and administration expertise in disaster recovery, high availability, backup and recovery, scale-out methods, identity and security management, and database migrations.
- Experience collaborating with Global System Integrators and third-party consulting organizations.
- Proficiency in programming, debugging, and problem-solving with SQL and Python.
- Hands-on experience building solutions in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Broad experience in at least two areas including data engineering, data warehousing, AI, ML, governance, transactional systems, application development, and streaming.
- Undergraduate degree or higher in a technical field such as Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or a similar discipline.
- Proven ability to drive complex projects to completion in fast-paced, customer-facing environments.
