Responsibilities
- Design enterprise reference architectures and end-to-end pipelines for generative AI, machine learning, and agentic workflows.
- Evaluate the technical feasibility, scalability, security, cost, latency, reliability, and integration fit of AI initiatives.
- Conduct rapid prototyping, proofs of concept, MVPs, architecture reviews, and model and technology assessments.
- Define production requirements, model dependencies, integration points, governance controls, lifecycle stages, and documentation.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, stakeholder guidance, effort estimates, and structured handoff to IT delivery teams.
- Maintain reusable AI architecture patterns and component templates while monitoring emerging AI capabilities and patterns.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of significant experience designing end-to-end technical architectures for machine learning and generative AI solutions.
- Experience with technical feasibility assessments, rapid prototyping, proofs of concept, MVPs, enterprise-scale systems, security standards, and AI governance.
- Expertise in AI design patterns such as RAG, fine-tuning, agentic workflows, and model evaluation frameworks.
- Strong technical leadership, mentorship, stakeholder management, and architecture optimization skills.
- Professional proficiency in English is required; Italian or additional European languages are a plus.
