Base Salary
$85k - $95k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provide technical oversight across multiple application development areas, systems, and applications.
- Review and analyze proposed technical solutions for projects.
- Contribute to application development strategies, standards, and functional-area planning.
- Develop scalable and performant software platforms for data computation and processing.
- Monitor delivery of application development results and ensure essential procedures are followed.
- Evaluate complex and unique situations using factual data and sound technical judgment.
- Work with external parties and influence stakeholders and senior leaders through data-driven communication.
- Provide stakeholder and people management and technical leadership.
Requirements
- 8-12 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry.
- Senior-level experience in an applications development role.
- Expert knowledge of core Java concepts, Spring Boot, object-oriented programming, and design patterns.
- Hands-on experience with Apache Spark using Java.
- Demonstrated knowledge of big data, grid computing, data warehousing, cloud computing, and programming languages including Java, Spark, and Python.
- Extensive experience building highly scalable and performant software platforms for data computation and processing.
- Experience with caching solutions such as Pinot and Redis.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Database, including schema design and query optimization.
- Understanding of architecture theories and practices across multiple related areas.
- Stakeholder and people management experience, strong leadership, and the ability to influence senior leaders.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Finance domain knowledge is a plus.

- Base compensation is listed at $85,000-$95,000 annually.
