Responsibilities
- Assist with translating business and user requirements into technical requirements, system designs, specifications, and software solutions.
- Design, test, implement, and maintain software code and support analysis and correction of program errors.
- Support application installation, deployment, release management, and implementation into production environments.
- Maintain production code sets and implementations in accordance with defined Service Level Agreements.
- Document development procedures, application use, security, task descriptions, and operational processes.
- Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
- Collaborate with platform specialists, developers, IT programmers, clients, and other technical teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology or a related field.
- Entry-level experience in software development and support, deploying software solutions to clients, and working across multiple teams and geographies.
- Entry-level programming and development experience, including Agile processes such as SCRUM and KANBAN.
- Foundational knowledge of application design, development and platform engineering, deployment and release management, automation tooling, and source code repositories.
- Foundational ability to design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for software build, testing, and deployment.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, planning, organization, teamwork, and client-focused skills.
- Relevant DevOps, Agile, cloud-platform, scripting, or programming-language certifications are preferred.
