Base Salary
$161k - $232k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, debug, document, and maintain complex non-embedded software for command and control of space vehicles.
- Lead Java development and the design, architecture, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and integration of software products.
- Work with system and test engineers to implement web services, applications, and distributed computing solutions.
- Lead troubleshooting, user inquiry handling, feedback analysis, and resolution of software reliability and efficiency issues.
- Participate in agile planning and events and support DevSecOps software delivery processes.
- Develop and improve software processes, tools, metrics, and lifecycle practices aligned with organizational and industry standards.
- Lead software project management, supplier management, requirements translation, and compliance with customer, safety, and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education.
- Active U.S. Top Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship required for clearance and program access.
- At least five years of experience with Java, C++, Angular or ReactJS, HTML, and CSS.
- At least five years of experience with software development and configuration management tools.
- Experience developing software using Agile methodologies and working with both Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Preferred qualifications include a relevant Bachelor of Science degree with 9+ years of related experience, a bachelor's degree with 13+ years of directly related experience, or 17+ years of related experience.
- Preferred experience includes software architecture and design, requirements derivation and traceability, software development standards, and validation and verification practices.
