Responsibilities
- Lead and support software design, development, integration, and deployment for mission management systems.
- Define software architecture for distributed, mission-critical applications supporting satellite constellation orchestration.
- Lead a software team developing mission planning, automated tasking, deconfliction, replanning, and related capabilities.
- Ensure solutions integrate with existing operational environments while maintaining modular and scalable architecture.
- Support development and deployment in high-security, classified cloud-based environments.
- Integrate software across teams and with external partners.
- Manage or contribute to container lifecycle management, image optimization, orchestration, and secure cloud application deployment.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software development experience.
- Experience as a technical lead and software engineering leader.
- Experience with software architecture for distributed systems and mission-critical applications.
- Experience with Git, SQL Server, and Python.
- Ability to work onsite at an accredited SCIF or SAPF.
- TS/SCI clearance is required.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Preferred qualifications include mission management or OPIR experience, cost account management for teams of 10+ engineers, container experience with Docker and Podman, classified cloud and infrastructure automation experience, DCO-S implementation, DevSecOps and cybersecurity hardening knowledge, a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, and DoD 8570 IAT II certification including CISSP or Security+.
