Responsibilities
- Build and maintain features across React front ends and .NET/C# back ends.
- Write clean, tested, and documented code for scoped tickets and features.
- Use AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor in daily development work.
- Participate in code reviews and provide and receive feedback.
- Collaborate with QA/SDET partners to fix defects and improve test coverage.
- Learn portfolio applications and contribute bug fixes and small enhancements across business units.
- Maintain behavioral parity with legacy systems through automated and regression testing.
Requirements
- Up to 6 years of professional software development experience.
- Understanding of React components, hooks, and basic state management.
- Understanding of .NET and C#, with exposure to .NET 10 or willingness to learn it quickly.
- Comfort working with SQL Server, relational data, existing tables, queries, and shared development databases.
- Understanding of REST APIs, relational databases, and full-stack web applications.
- Hands-on exposure to AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or Windsurf, or strong enthusiasm to adopt them.
- Good debugging instincts and clear, collaborative communication.
- Preferred qualifications include exposure to legacy .NET Framework or Web Forms, React or .NET academic/personal projects, Git-based workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and application modernization or migration projects.
