Member of Technical Staff - Portworx
Pure StorageResponsibilities
- Design and develop cloud-native microservices and integrate new features into Portworx products.
- Own software design and development through production, incorporating customer feedback and resolving issues from testing and deployments.
- Perform unit and functional testing, code reviews, documentation, continuous integration, and continuous deployment.
- Debug product and performance issues in large-scale clusters and distributed systems.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including product management and customer beta partners.
- Experiment with new technologies to develop innovative, scalable solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
- At least 4 years of experience designing, developing, and testing enterprise products; Golang experience is preferred.
- Understanding of microservice architectures and cloud-native platforms.
- Experience designing and owning microservices operating and scaling in distributed systems across thousands of nodes.
- Expert debugging skills and the ability to solve ambiguous problems at scale in public and private cloud environments.
- Experience collaborating with multiple internal and external stakeholders to design scalable, production-quality software.
- Strong computer science fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
- Willingness and ability to work in an open office environment.
