Pure StorageResponsibilities
- Design, collaborate on, and implement algorithms and technologies for high-performance, highly reliable systems.
- Own innovation and delivery end to end, from concept through shipped product.
- Analyze and resolve challenging technical problems.
- Collaborate with product management, product development, system validation, support, customers, and other stakeholders.
- Develop and refine system software and contribute to high-availability enterprise infrastructure deployments.
- Make strategic architectural decisions and help evolve system design and architecture.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of developer-level Linux platform experience.
- Strong programming skills in C, C++, Python, Java, Go, or other programming languages.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, threads, synchronization, and concurrent programming.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for discussing architectures, design proposals, and options with stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Hands-on storage-domain development experience is preferred.
- Experience making strategic architectural decisions and driving design and architecture evolution is preferred.
- Understanding of production systems, deployments, high availability, and enterprise infrastructure uptime.
