Base Salary
$149k - $229k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop analytics using Apache Flink for a new big data streaming analytics platform.
- Support a critical mission system serving hundreds of active users.
- Work in a full-stack environment with a focus on analytics development.
- Rapidly develop and deploy patches and updates to an existing system.
- Contribute across requirements gathering, design, and deployment while communicating with analysts.
Requirements
- An active Top Secret SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
- A bachelor's degree in a technical field is required, with an additional two years of experience allowed as a substitute.
- Six years of software development experience are required.
- Experience with Java, Docker, streaming data frameworks, and version control is required.
- Experience with Apache Flink, Spring Cloud Data Flow, or Heron is relevant for streaming data framework work.
- Experience with Git or SVN is required for version control.
- Applicants must be U.S. citizens and must be able to obtain or maintain a government security clearance.
- Willingness to obtain an approved certification, including AWS Certified Developer Associate, AWS Certified Machine Learning Associate or Specialty, AWS DevOps Engineer Professional, or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer, is required.
- Familiarity with agency data flow formats and standards and willingness to work across the development lifecycle are expected.
