Base Salary
$106k - $223k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive technical win strategies and support Sales Specialists in qualifying and advancing opportunities.
- Engage C-Suite executives, business decision-makers, and technical decision-makers through technical discovery and trusted-advisor relationships.
- Design and customize Microsoft solutions, architecture patterns, demonstrations, architectural design sessions, and proof-of-concept engagements.
- Present business value, competitive differentiators, and technical capabilities to secure customer solution design endorsement.
- Coordinate with partners, engineering, product, support, and Customer Success teams on co-sell, implementation, emerging technologies, and blocker remediation.
- Represent customer feedback and competitive insights to product and engineering teams.
- Lead workshops, webinars, training, executive briefings, and other one-to-many technical enablement activities.
- Mentor peers and share technical, industry, architecture, and solution best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 4 years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in a related field plus at least 8 years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: at least 4 years of experience with cloud and hybrid or on-premises infrastructure, architecture designs, migrations, industry standards, and/or technology management.
- Preferred: certification in relevant Microsoft or industry technologies or disciplines, such as Microsoft Office 365, Power BI, Azure administration, architecture, development, cloud platform technologies, information security, or architecture.
- Must satisfy applicable U.S. citizenship-based legal restrictions for government agency customers and pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire or transfer and every two years thereafter.
- Must live within typical commuting distance of a Microsoft office in Atlanta, Las Colinas, Fargo, Chicago, or Minneapolis.
Benefits
- The role offers a stated U.S. base-pay range of USD $106,400-$203,600 per year, with different ranges for specified San Francisco Bay Area and New York City locations.
- Benefits and other compensation may be available according to Microsoft policy.
- This is a location-dependent role requiring commuting distance to specified Microsoft offices.
