Responsibilities
- Plan, design, develop, and test software systems and applications for enhancements and new products.
- Serve as the single technical, architectural, and solution point of contact for Postilion Pune teams.
- Connect Pune teams with architects in Cape Town and the US to identify and address technical knowledge gaps.
- Increase the technical and functional knowledge of Postilion Pune teams through enablement and knowledge sharing.
- Support exploration of DevOps, automation, and end-to-end testing.
- Identify and help execute tool initiatives, incubation projects, innovation ideas, and technical side projects.
- Help Postilion leadership improve team effectiveness and efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- At least 9 years of experience as a software developer.
- Strong hands-on experience with Core Java, J2EE, and JUnit.
- Hands-on experience with SQL Server, MySQL, DB2, or Oracle.
- Exposure to Hibernate 4.x, Spring 4.x including IoC and MVC, RESTful web services, and Spring Boot.
- Subject-matter expertise in Postilion software development and implementation.
- Payment-domain knowledge.
- SCJP certification is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Agile methodology.
