Base Salary
$165k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud and on-premises infrastructure across Azure, AWS, and datacenter environments using infrastructure-as-code.
- Own Kubernetes cluster deployments, scaling, monitoring, and incident response.
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for a large-scale monorepo.
- Implement metrics, logging, tracing, alerting, and broader observability across services.
- Drive SLOs, capacity planning, disaster recovery, and runbook development.
- Operationalize and scale enterprise AI deployments on-premises, including GPU resource orchestration and model inference performance tuning.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve developer experience and deployment velocity.
- Manage secrets, access controls, and infrastructure security posture.
- Evaluate and adopt tooling that reduces operational toil.
Requirements
- 3–7 years of professional DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure experience.
- Deep production Kubernetes expertise, including AKS, EKS, or GKE.
- Strong infrastructure-as-code skills with Pulumi, Terraform, or Bicep.
- Experience operating CI/CD systems such as GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, or Jenkins.
- Proficiency in at least one of Python, Go, TypeScript, or Bash.
- Understanding of IaaS providers, networking, DNS, load balancing, and TLS.
- Experience with monitoring and observability stacks such as Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud and on-premises deployments.
- Strong communication, cross-team collaboration, organization, and attention to detail.
- Preferred: GPU infrastructure and ML/LLM serving experience, including vLLM or TEI.
- Preferred: familiarity with Temporal or other workflow orchestration systems.
- Preferred: security and compliance experience involving SOC 2, HIPAA, or GDPR.
- Preferred: cost optimization experience at scale.
