Base Salary
$180k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain backend services and React front-end applications for real-time content delivery, monetization, and interactive web and mobile features.
- Build and integrate AI-powered agentic workflows into products and internal tooling using LLMs and emerging AI capabilities.
- Improve SEO, page speed, web performance, and indexing practices.
- Instrument features, analyze outcomes, and iterate using data and metrics in collaboration with designers, product managers, and editors.
- Contribute to product vision and work across teams and stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with hands-on expertise in React.js, Node.js, TypeScript, and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with Next.js for server-side rendering, content caching, and web performance optimization.
- Hands-on GCP experience, including Cloud Run, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
- Strong experience with automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Experience building AI agents, LLM integrations, or agentic development patterns such as tool use, RAG, and multi-step workflows.
- Experience with analytics tooling, A/B testing, and metrics-informed engineering and product decisions.
- Experience with design systems and component libraries.
- Expertise in secure coding practices, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps best practices.
- Experience with large-scale content platforms or digital media.
- Bonus: React Native, Sanity CMS or other headless CMS solutions, Vercel, edge functions, serverless architecture, Core Web Vitals, technical SEO, ad management systems, paywalls, or data analytics tools.
