Base Salary
$140k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead complex client integrations end-to-end and own technical decisions from discovery through production.
- Serve as the primary technical contact for strategic accounts and partner with sales on technical discovery, RFPs, and proof-of-concept engagements.
- Design, build, and maintain public-facing Python SDKs and robust APIs, including versioning, documentation, and authentication flows.
- Investigate client implementation issues and data pipeline failures, perform root-cause analysis, and implement systemic fixes.
- Identify data-quality gaps, operational pain points, privacy-safe measurement opportunities, and product improvements for roadmap consideration.
- Mentor junior and mid-level Solutions Engineers through technical guidance, code review, and career support.
- Contribute to tooling, technology stack, and architecture decisions that improve system health.
- Collaborate with management on team goals and distribute critical technical knowledge across the team.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a software engineer, with Python preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience working with data systems and hands-on SQL experience.
- Familiarity with AWS S3, CloudFront, PostgreSQL, and streaming data pipelines such as Kafka or Storm is preferred.
- Regular use of AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or similar is required.
- Ability to independently drive complex, ambiguous technical projects through production.
- Experience with API architectural patterns such as REST, GraphQL, and AWS API Gateway, plus client-facing SDKs and integration tools.
- Experience designing and building workflow automation with n8n, Zapier, or similar platforms.
- Strong communication skills for technical discussions and client-facing explanations.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and workstreams under tight timelines.
- Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to team technical growth.
- Awareness of digital advertising measurement, GDPR, CCPA, and cookieless or server-side tracking is a strong plus.
