Base Salary
$180k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical lead in pre-sales conversations with account executives.
- Lead technical discovery and architecture design sessions with prospects.
- Build and deliver custom demos and proof-of-concepts for LanceDB.
- Act as a bridge between customer pain points and engineering teams.
- Partner with design partners for successful onboarding and expansion.
- Champion a superior developer experience focusing on documentation and integration workflows.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, ML Engineer, or AI Infrastructure role.
- Strong knowledge of AI/ML frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Hands-on experience with distributed systems such as Ray, Spark, or Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with cloud services like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Confident communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area and willing to travel.
