Responsibilities
- Design and operate SOAR playbooks and AI workflows for security alert responses.
- Translate detection logic into actionable alerts and automate feedback loops.
- Build and maintain integrations between security tools and AI services.
- Instrument automation pipelines with metrics and logging for reliability.
- Write tests for automation logic and validate responses through simulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed security automation.
Requirements
- 5+ years in security engineering, SecOps, or automation roles.
- Proficiency in Python and/or Go for scripting and tooling.
- Hands-on experience with SOAR platforms like Splunk SOAR or Palo Alto XSOAR.
- Experience with SIEM platforms such as Splunk or Microsoft Sentinel.
- Familiarity with REST API integration and event-driven architecture.
- Understanding of threat detection logic including MITRE ATT&CK.
- Familiarity with LLM/AI APIs and prompt-driven automation workflows.
- Knowledge of version control and CI/CD practices.
- Understanding of cloud security fundamentals (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Strong written documentation habits.
