Responsibilities
- Lead technical discussions across diverse teams in a matrixed environment.
- Mentor developers on technologies and career development.
- Evaluate architectural alternatives through modeling and prototyping.
- Ensure architectures achieve security, scalability, and resilience goals.
- Influence the design, architecture, and implementation of frontend and backend cloud-native experiences.
- Design and implement high-quality code for complex areas.
- Translate business needs, system architecture, and product requirements into well-designed software.
- Evangelize and distribute technical information across the organization.
- Present architectural initiatives to Autodesk management and gather feedback.
- Contribute to near- and long-term technology roadmaps.
- Champion industry best practices and serve as a subject matter expert in cloud-native technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related engineering discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 10+ years of experience as a software engineer or architect with a strong focus on cloud technologies.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- Strong leadership and team-guidance experience.
- Demonstrated success leading architecture for globally deployed commercial software systems at scale.
- Extensive knowledge of cloud-native development tools, languages, and frameworks.
- Working knowledge of LLMs and machine learning, including hands-on experience with machine learning tools in a development environment.
- Broad software development and architecture knowledge with deep expertise in one or two key domains.
- High ownership, collaboration, and ability to deliver high-quality results.
