Responsibilities
- Conceive, assemble, and deliver the financial platform that meets the trading team’s requirements.
- Build out the global liquidity network at scale across key financial centers.
- Cultivate best practices and collaborate with engineering teams on application structure.
- Promote the domain model and architecture for the trading platform.
- Leverage software systems from Gemini’s portfolio of technologies.
- Own projects end to end, working cross-functionally with product managers and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proficiency with Golang or equivalent back-end experience in Java, Scala, or similar.
- Proficiency with TypeScript (React) for front-end development.
- At least 6 years of experience in full-stack development focused on scalable, distributed systems.
- Experience building microservices deployed on AWS and Kubernetes.
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills with attention to detail.
- Engaging communicator with precision and conciseness.
- Independent decision maker with domain expertise.
- Understanding of communication protocols like FIX, Websocket, REST, and GraphQL.
