Responsibilities
- Build AI-powered approval workflows that convert natural-language configuration into deterministic, auditable business logic.
- Develop an intelligent collections agent that autonomously runs configurable payment-reminder workflows.
- Scale and rearchitect billing infrastructure for substantially higher throughput and cost-efficient horizontal scalability.
- Design systems that process high-velocity event streams and balance cost, performance, and reliability.
- Identify, design, ship, and operate product capabilities in collaboration with customers, design, and product teams.
- Contribute to architecture and engineering decisions as the team grows.
Requirements
- Experience shipping production backend systems and building reliable software.
- Interest in distributed systems and writing resilient software.
- Customer-oriented approach with a desire to understand the problems behind the product.
- Comfort working through ambiguity, sharing early work, and adapting based on feedback.
- Clear communication skills and willingness to take end-to-end ownership.
- Comfort with production responsibility and on-call for revenue-critical infrastructure.
- Deep relational database expertise is a nice-to-have.
