Responsibilities
- Develop a data and cloud migration framework for moving on-premise software assets to Snowflake and Azure Cloud platforms.
- Assist with migrating on-premise software assets to cloud platforms.
- Maintain and improve software solutions and infrastructure.
- Develop new solutions and enhance existing solutions.
- Define software and data engineering deployment and management best practices and standards.
- Design, develop, test, document, and launch assigned projects.
- Provide status tracking, reporting, estimation, and communication of work plans.
- Gather and validate requirements and maintain relevant documentation.
- Participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies, work planning, technology investigations, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and managers to understand user needs and deliver client solutions.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience with Python, REST APIs, and SQL.
- Expertise with Git source control tools such as GitHub or GitLab.
- Experience with unit testing using Pytest.
- Intermediate design proficiency with UML, C4, or ArchiMate.
- Experience engineering medium-to-large software systems.
- Proficiency with relational databases and scalable frontend/backend applications.
- Proficiency in English.
- Preferred experience with Python web frameworks, workflow orchestration platforms, Python package management, HTTP, JSON, XML, software composition analysis platforms, AI coding agents, SDLC, and object-oriented programming.
