Base Salary
$125k - $183k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead full stack architecture and system design for customer-facing features.
- Own the backend roadmap and drive technical decisions.
- Execute end-to-end feature delivery across frontend and backend.
- Optimize systems for performance, reliability, and cost.
- Set engineering standards and lead design reviews.
- Manage a technical roadmap and deliver stable features on time.
- Make technical recommendations to improve the codebase.
- Coordinate communication across engineering, product, and design teams.
- Utilize AI coding tools to accelerate development.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience with expertise in backend systems.
- Proven track record of leading teams to execute and ship features.
- Strong proficiency in Go, Python, Ruby, or similar backend languages.
- Experience with frontend technologies like React, TypeScript, and Node.js.
- Hands-on experience with distributed systems handling real-world traffic.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools.
- A T-shaped engineer mindset with deep expertise in at least one domain.
- Proactive ownership mentality and ability to navigate ambiguity.
- Experience with high-traffic consumer applications.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
