Responsibilities
- Drive technology choices and establish architectural patterns for Samsara's platform.
- Identify opportunities to influence platform technology and engineering culture.
- Architect, design, and develop software for scalable operations.
- Lead teams in delivering impactful products and capabilities.
- Solve complex technical problems to ensure high-quality product delivery.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and product teams to build effective solutions.
- Elevate team impact and output as a technical leader.
- Represent Samsara in external forums to enhance the engineering brand.
- Champion Samsara's cultural principles as the company scales.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience in software design and development, with 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong programming fundamentals.
- 4+ years of experience building large-scale distributed systems.
- 4+ years of experience leading cross-organization projects.
