Responsibilities
- Ensure the quality of complex feature development and technical projects.
- Design and execute detailed test plans based on functional requirements and implementation approaches.
- Create reusable automated test scripts in Python and generate test data.
- Monitor test results, identify coverage gaps, write additional scripts, and provide test metrics.
- Manage customer-reported issues and contribute to bug fixes and reusable tools or scripts.
- Participate in project planning and execution with the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of software testing experience with a concentration in automation.
- Proficiency with defect tracking systems, code repositories, IDEs, and CI/CD tools.
- Programming proficiency in Python and exposure to Django or Flask.
- Comprehensive knowledge of testing frameworks such as Selenium and Appium.
- Effective collaboration skills and a self-driven approach to continuous learning.
- Experience with a SaaS-based product company or bootstrapped high-growth startup is preferred.
