Base Salary

Responsibilities

Build scalable backend systems using Node.js and modern JavaScript or TypeScript.
Design and develop distributed systems, microservices, event-driven architectures, and backend integrations.
Work with high-volume e-commerce systems involving transactions, orders, inventory, payments, catalog, and customer data.
Contribute to AI-powered capabilities, agents, LLM integrations, tools, orchestration, and Model Context Protocol integrations.
Design and consume backend APIs and work with SQL and NoSQL databases.
Apply principles of scalability, concurrency, reliability, and distributed-system architecture.
Debug problems, work independently, and take ownership of projects.

At least 5 years of professional backend software development experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Node.js and modern JavaScript or TypeScript, or similar languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
Experience designing and developing distributed systems and microservices.
Practical experience with Apache Kafka or similar event-streaming technologies.
Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
Experience with NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB, MongoDB, Cassandra, or Redis.
Experience designing and consuming REST APIs and backend integrations.
Strong understanding of software architecture, scalability, concurrency, reliability, and distributed-system concepts.
Familiarity with e-commerce platforms or systems, preferably involving high-volume transactions, orders, inventory, payments, catalog, or customer data.
Understanding of LLM concepts and integrating AI into software applications.
Familiarity with AI agents, tools, function calling, context, orchestration, and agent workflows.
Familiarity with MCP and its purpose in connecting AI models with tools and external systems.
Strong problem-solving, debugging, communication, independent-work, and ownership skills.
Preferred: experience building AI-enabled applications or integrating LLM APIs.
Preferred: experience with React or modern frontend development.
Preferred: experience implementing or consuming MCP servers or tools.
Preferred: experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
