Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, production-ready AI automation frameworks and agentic workflows integrated with SIXT’s technology ecosystem.
- Translate complex business challenges into technical solutions using agentic architectures, MCP integrations, predictive models, and neural networks.
- Own the full product lifecycle, including solution design, API development, containerization, and deployment of scalable applications.
- Work with senior stakeholders and business leaders to translate strategic priorities into scalable technical architectures and impactful data products.
- Continuously optimize AI systems, ensure technical excellence, and scale performance across global operations.
- Contribute to SIXT’s engineering culture by improving the technology stack, challenging existing approaches, and sharing knowledge across teams.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in a STEM subject.
- Practical experience in AI Engineering, Data Science, or Software Engineering in fast-paced, technology-driven environments.
- Strong foundation in modern generative AI frameworks and agentic patterns such as LangChain and MCP.
- Practical experience with PyTorch, scikit-learn, and XGBoost.
- Ability to write clean, scalable Python code and experience with API development using FastAPI.
- Experience with Git, Docker, and cloud platforms.
- A product mindset focused on business impact and selecting appropriate solutions ranging from heuristics to machine learning models and neural networks.
- Strong technical depth, hands-on execution skills, and a high-ownership working style.
- Ability to explain complex AI concepts and black-box logic clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Fluent German and English communication skills.
