Responsibilities
- Design and implement ADAS application software in C++ and Python for ACC, LKA, AEB, FCW, BSD, and RCW features.
- Develop and optimize sensor-fusion algorithms using camera, radar, and LiDAR data for object detection and tracking.
- Integrate ADAS software with AUTOSAR Adaptive and Classic middleware and CAN, CAN FD, Ethernet, and SOME/IP communication stacks.
- Execute unit and component integration testing using VectorCAST, Google Test, or equivalent tools.
- Conduct code reviews, MISRA C++ 2023 compliance activities, and static analysis using Polyspace or LDRA.
- Refine requirements and create software design specifications aligned with ASPICE SWE 1 through SWE 3.
- Debug defects found during HIL, SIL, and on-vehicle testing using hardware debugging and trace-analysis tools.
- Prepare ASPICE-compliant requirements, design, testing, and change-management documentation.
- Collaborate with OEM and Tier 1 stakeholders during integration milestones and feature demonstrations.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience is required; the posting additionally specifies a minimum of 4 years in the ADAS automotive embedded SDV domain.
- Strong proficiency in C++ and Python with automotive embedded software development experience in ADAS.
- Knowledge of ADAS algorithms including object detection, multisensor tracking, path prediction, and scene understanding.
- Understanding of AUTOSAR Adaptive and Classic architecture, software components, and service interfaces.
- Experience processing camera, radar, Ethernet, CAN, or LiDAR sensor data, including camera ISP and computer-vision pipelines.
- Knowledge of ISO 26262 functional-safety principles, ASIL B/C, and SOTIF ISO 21448.
- Hands-on experience with MATLAB Simulink for model-based algorithm prototyping and verification.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, CMake, and static-analysis tools.
- Familiarity with OpenCV, Eigen, and PCL is preferred.
- Knowledge of CARLA, LGSVL, or IPG CarMaker simulation environments is preferred.
- Understanding of CAN, CAN FD, Ethernet, SOME/IP, and DDS vehicle-communication protocols is preferred.
- Awareness of ASPICE SWE process-area documentation requirements is preferred.
- BE/BTech or ME/MTech in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or Automotive Engineering, with 15 years of full-time education.
