Responsibilities
- Ship end-to-end features across the internal dashboard and customer portal, from design through testing and rollout.
- Work directly with partnerships, solutions, and sales teams to identify workflow friction and turn it into product features.
- Design layouts, interactions, and empty, loading, and error states for the interfaces you build.
- Build catalog and solutions workflows for sample creation, customer access management, and delivery exports.
- Develop customer-facing experiences for browsing, streaming, and evaluating multimodal samples.
- Implement playback, preview, and file-handling experiences for content stored across buckets.
- Build interfaces on top of embedding-based search for finding clips within catalogs of millions of items.
- Extend and consume Next.js route handlers and work with Postgres and AWS services.
- Implement scoped access, secure share links, and PHI-aware routes for sensitive data.
- Contribute to the shared design system, component library, and testing patterns.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience building production web applications used by real users.
- Strong TypeScript and React skills, with experience in Next.js or a comparable full-stack framework.
- Experience shipping user-facing features end to end across UI, API, data model, and tests.
- Ability to turn rough ideas into clean, usable interfaces with strong layout, hierarchy, and interaction design.
- Comfort working across the stack with Postgres and cloud services, particularly AWS.
- Ability to identify and improve confusing or slow user flows independently.
- Comfort working with ambiguity, evolving priorities, and rapid iteration.
- Experience with browser media playback, including HTML5 video/audio, HLS, containers, or codecs, is preferred.
- Experience building search or data-heavy interfaces over large datasets is preferred.
- A UI-focused portfolio, side projects, or shipped work is preferred.
- Familiarity with Clerk authentication and permission modeling is preferred.
- Experience with sensitive or regulated data, including HIPAA or PHI, is preferred.
- Prior startup experience is preferred.
