Base Salary
$97k - $145k/yr
Responsibilities
- Conduct feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology activities, systems analysis, application development, and model development.
- Establish and implement new or revised application systems and programs to meet business and user-area needs.
- Monitor and control application development through analysis, design, construction, testing, implementation, and operational support.
- Analyze complex application and business-process issues and recommend advanced programming solutions.
- Develop post-implementation security measures and evaluate business and system functionality.
- Consult with users, clients, and technology groups; install systems and provide customer and operational support.
- Define operating standards and processes, follow essential procedures, assess risk, and support compliance requirements.
- Act as a subject matter expert, advisor, or coach to senior stakeholders, team members, and lower-level analysts.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of relevant software development experience and 4 years of systems analysis and software application programming experience.
- At least 3 years of application development experience and 3 years of hands-on server-side Java, including Java 8 and concurrent programming.
- At least 3 years of experience with JavaScript, Angular, jQuery, and CSS.
- Strong experience with Oracle and/or MongoDB databases and SQL query creation.
- Experience with modern application architecture, Spring Boot, event-driven services, cloud-native application development, Web API, Kafka, and Git.
- Experience in Agile, Scrum, and/or test-driven development environments.
- Experience with system analysis, application programming, data modeling, and data architecture; IBM WebSphere experience is preferred.
- Experience managing and implementing successful projects and serving as a subject matter expert in at least one application-development area.
- Bachelor’s or university degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work independently, adjust priorities quickly, and communicate clearly in writing and verbally.

- Salary range of $96,960.00 to $145,440.00, excluding potential incentive and retention awards.
