Responsibilities
- Define, design, and deliver production-grade model analysis and optimization tooling for edge developers through web services and desktop applications.
- Provide technical leadership in ML tooling and shape the architecture and roadmap for ML developer tools.
- Work across ML frameworks, runtimes, existing and future hardware, and heterogeneous execution environments.
- Build collaborative relationships with distributed engineering teams, product managers, and UX specialists.
- Drive maintainable software, automated testing, continuous integration, effective engineering processes, and customer feedback.
- Help build and lead a new team working on ML developer tooling and greenfield software products.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of neural-network architecture and model execution, including computational graphs, transformations, operator dispatch, memory planning, backend partitioning, and heterogeneous hardware execution.
- Proven experience with hardware-aware model optimization, including quantization, graph optimization, operator fusion, and precision reduction.
- Experience with multiple ML frameworks, model formats, and inference runtimes such as PyTorch, ONNX, ONNX Runtime, ExecuTorch, TensorFlow, LiteRT, and OpenVINO.
- Experience analyzing, profiling, and debugging ML workloads, including compatibility, performance, latency, memory, model size, and accuracy trade-offs.
- Passion for building high-quality developer tools and intuitive workflows.
- Preferred experience with ML inspection, visualization, profiling, or benchmarking tools; deployment across CPUs, GPUs, and ML accelerators; Linux, containers, Python, or TypeScript.
- Preferred experience building developer-facing CLIs, SDKs, APIs, or web tools and engaging directly with developers to improve products through prototypes, feedback, and analytics.
