Responsibilities
- Design and build reliable APIs and backend services for the marketplace order journey.
- Develop systems for supplier matching, automated auctions, order allocation, production management, and shipment planning.
- Build scalable event-driven backend solutions for growing operational demands.
- Improve application reliability through testing, monitoring, observability, and clean coding practices.
- Own development tasks from initial discussions through implementation and delivery.
- Collaborate with backend engineers and cross-functional stakeholders on architecture, development standards, and engineering quality.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience developing web applications and backend services.
- Proficiency in Python for designing, developing, testing, and monitoring production applications.
- Practical experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working in Agile development environments with Product Managers and Designers.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
