Responsibilities
- Deliver software development workstreams in an Agile environment within time, cost, and quality objectives.
- Develop, support, and maintain customer-facing and internal applications to defined standards.
- Design and deliver robust, resilient solutions using current software technologies.
- Advocate testing, change management, and release management processes.
- Gather requirements, manage expectations, communicate across business areas, and help define technology standards.
- Identify continuous improvements and innovative approaches aligned with Product Development strategy.
- Complete required information security and business continuity training and support company ISO processes.
- Address security threats, browser compatibility, and device support.
Requirements
- More than 3 years of experience delivering IT development projects.
- A related degree or equivalent qualifications or experience.
- Required experience with Java 8–21, Java web applications, stored procedures and databases, CI/CD tools, Apache, and Nginx.
- Experience with Java web technologies such as Tomcat, WebSphere, and Spring MVC.
- Experience with MSSQL, DB2, Mongo, or PostgreSQL.
- Experience with Jenkins, Concourse, Git, GitLab, or Octopus.
- Desirable experience with Selenium, JUnit, Mockito, PowerMock, Karma, Jasmine, REST/JSON APIs, Swagger, HATEOAS, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Batch, Maven, Ant, Unix, JavaScript, JSON, TypeScript, AngularJS, Angular, and the ELK stack.
- Strong analytical, solution design, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- A demonstrable track record of building for the public web.
