Responsibilities
- Lead full-stack feature development from design through production for scalable reader- and editor-facing systems.
- Collaborate with product, design, web/backend, native mobile, QA, and data teams to refine requirements and technical solutions.
- Develop full-stack solutions and build expertise across the technology stack.
- Provide production support through troubleshooting and participation in on-call rotations.
- Contribute ideas to product direction and improvements to internal team processes and norms.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional experience building and delivering user-facing features in a collaborative environment.
- At least 2 years of experience owning user-facing features through implementation and launch while partnering with Product, Design, and Engineering.
- At least 2 years of experience with modern JavaScript technologies including React, Node.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- At least 2 years of experience building backend services with technologies such as Go, Node.js/Express, GraphQL, and GCP or AWS.
- At least 2 years of experience with data persistence technologies, including SQL or databases.
- At least 2 years of experience troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving production issues.
- Preferred experience includes AI coding tools, DevOps practices, CI/CD tooling, automated testing and deployments, observability, monitoring, Kubernetes, Docker, caching, and content delivery.
