Base Salary

$155k - $171k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the technical SME and owner for the LoanIQ application, including design, development, configuration, support, and integrations.
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable and resilient solutions for loan syndication, loan sales and trading, agency, servicing, and settlement workflows.
  • Translate requirements from trading desks, syndications, operations, and finance into technical solutions.
  • Analyze and resolve complex production issues involving trade booking, position keeping, cash flow processing, and settlement breaks.
  • Develop and maintain integrations with trade capture, settlement, accounting/GL, market data, reporting, and reconciliation systems.
  • Lead technical design and implementation for complex initiatives and provide cross-team technical guidance, coaching, and training.
  • Drive code quality through design reviews, code reviews, automated testing, and adherence to software development lifecycle and change-management controls.
  • Partner with Finastra and other vendors on platform upgrades, patches, and roadmap alignment.
  • Ensure solutions satisfy regulatory, audit, security, and data-governance requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of professional software development experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of capital markets experience with knowledge of loan syndication, loan sales and trading, or similar capital markets products.
  • Deep knowledge of multiple programming languages, software architecture, and design principles.
  • Deep understanding of software development lifecycle, testing, deployment, and security practices.
  • Preferred advanced degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
  • Preferred Certified Software Development Professional certification or equivalent.
  • Preferred expertise in cloud-native architectures, microservices, container orchestration, and DevOps.
  • Preferred familiarity with Agile frameworks, continuous integration/continuous deployment, and enterprise innovation management.
