Base Salary

$87k - $157k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain full-stack solutions using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Java, JSON, XML, and web services.
  • Configure, administer, and maintain WebEOC or similar enterprise applications for emergency preparedness and response operations.
  • Configure forms, workflows, routing logic, role-based access controls, and application settings.
  • Develop and maintain Microsoft Power BI dashboards and operational reports.
  • Design and implement workflow automations using custom code, Microsoft Power Platform, or comparable low-code/no-code tools.
  • Integrate applications and data sources through APIs, JSON, XML, and web services.
  • Troubleshoot application and code-level issues, implement approved enhancements, and provide technical guidance and customer support.
  • Use Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar AI tools to improve documentation, reporting, development efficiency, and operational processes.
  • Maintain technical documentation, configuration guides, operational runbooks, and training materials.
  • Support configuration management, change control, system testing, application sustainment, emergency operations, and surge activities.
  • Collaborate with government stakeholders and end users to implement enhancements and maintain operational readiness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Full-stack development experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Java, JSON, XML, RESTful or SOAP web services, or similar technologies.
  • Experience with an enterprise low-code/no-code platform such as Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint, Salesforce, or Microsoft Dynamics, or custom application development using Java-based frameworks.
  • Experience developing dashboards with Microsoft Power BI or equivalent reporting tools.
  • Experience designing or supporting workflow automation through custom code, Power Automate, or comparable platforms.
  • Experience using AI productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot or ChatGPT to improve workflows, documentation, or development efficiency.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and customer support skills, along with excellent written and verbal communication.
  • U.S. citizenship or Green Card status and the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
  • Preferred qualifications include WebEOC or emergency management systems administration, ServiceNow, Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365 administration, federal or emergency management experience, API and systems integration, technical documentation, Section 508, and regulated-environment experience.
  • Must participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation, respond to mission alerts within 15 minutes, report to the designated location within 90 minutes when recalled, carry a mobile phone while on call, and lift up to 50 pounds when supporting operational activities.
