Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver scalable, maintainable, and high-performing software solutions.
- Build backend services using Java, Spring, Kafka, and microservice design patterns.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and stakeholders to define requirements and solution strategies.
- Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, technical communities, and platform improvement initiatives.
- Implement secure coding, unit testing, and automation testing practices.
- Use AWS, OpenShift/Kubernetes, DevOps tooling, and infrastructure-as-code to support delivery.
- Manage risks and controls, contribute to governance and policy development, and support operational effectiveness.
- Guide team members or lead collaborative assignments and communicate complex technical information to varied audiences.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Java, Spring, Kafka, and microservice design.
- Good understanding of AWS cloud services and OpenShift/Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps tooling and CI/CD automation.
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL and relational data modeling.
- Exposure to event-driven patterns or API platforms, preferably Kafka.
- Experience writing infrastructure as code, preferably with Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Experience with automation testing frameworks.
- Ability to challenge existing approaches and drive platform improvements.
- Strong communication, stakeholder collaboration, and technical explanation skills.
- Ability to work with risk and controls, change and transformation, business strategy, and complex cross-functional assignments.
