Base Salary
$190k - $235k/yr
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain cohesive developer workflows spanning local development, builds, tests, artifact management, and deployments.
- Improve CI/CD build performance, reliability, observability, debuggability, and operational safety.
- Partner with product engineering teams to identify friction points and deliver durable workflow and developer productivity tooling.
- Define engineering standards, rollout strategies, release automation, and production-readiness practices.
- Help prioritize and drive the platform and developer productivity roadmap.
Requirements
- Production experience building, operating, and improving reliable CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong software engineering ability, including building and maintaining durable systems in Go.
- Experience connecting local development, builds, tests, and deployments into reliable Kubernetes-based workflows.
- Experience building and operating production Kubernetes clusters supporting critical business workloads, including upgrades, hardening, and incident response.
- Strong fundamentals in TCP, UDP, HTTP, TLS, DNS, Linux, infrastructure, networking, and system behavior under load.
- Strong partnership and communication skills when working with product engineering teams.
- Familiarity with monorepos, Argo CD, Terraform, Skaffold, or similar cloud-native tools is a plus.
- Experience with video or high-throughput systems, video ingest or streaming, CDN-style data paths, Kafka-like event streaming, CockroachDB, or ClickHouse is a plus.
