Base Salary
$140k - $160k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable integrations between Layer Health and EHR and related healthcare systems.
- Troubleshoot integration issues and resolve problems to maintain uninterrupted data flow and interoperability.
- Test and validate EHR integrations thoroughly.
- Create documentation for integration processes and workflows.
- Communicate project status, issues, feedback, and ideas to internal teams and clients.
- Maintain proactive communication with team members and clients.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as an integration engineer, software engineer, or in a related discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience integrating third-party vendor projects with large EHR systems, including Epic, specifically using FHIR.
- Strong Python programming skills and knowledge of FHIR, HL7v2, and SMART on FHIR.
- Proficiency in solution design, system development methodologies, and software life cycles.
- Familiarity with diverse technical integrations, cloud technologies, SaaS technologies, and processing environments.
- Ability to solve complex production issues and communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.
- Epic certification, HL7, DICOM, other interoperability standards, and cloud experience are preferred.
