Base Salary
$145k - $255k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define and lead a scalable, maintainable mobile architecture strategy across projects.
- Lead iOS architecture, libraries, and platform-specific patterns while maintaining Android knowledge.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, and product teams to align architecture with product and user-experience goals.
- Establish coding standards, design patterns, and performance guidelines.
- Lead architectural reviews and guide refactoring and scaling of existing mobile applications.
- Design reusable APIs, SDKs, and modular components for use across teams.
- Guide decisions on third-party libraries, mobile tooling, and build and deployment pipelines.
- Partner with backend and cloud teams to integrate mobile applications with services.
- Track mobile architecture, performance, and security trends and best practices.
- Mentor mobile engineers and improve the team’s technical proficiency.
Requirements
- Around 6+ years of mobile development experience with a strong architectural mindset.
- Deep iOS development expertise using Swift; Objective-C knowledge is a plus.
- Strong understanding of UIKit, SwiftUI, Combine, and modern iOS frameworks.
- Experience with performance optimization, modularization, and offline-first strategies.
- Familiarity with Android development using Kotlin or Java is a strong plus.
- Experience integrating APIs and handling mobile data storage, caching, and background tasks.
- Knowledge of App Store submission, mobile security, and compliance guidelines.
- Experience with mobile CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and deployment automation.
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain architectural concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Passion for clean code, design patterns such as MVVM and VIPER, and scalable architecture.
