Responsibilities
- Build and evolve the web platform foundation, including application shells, micro-frontends, routing, deployment, and release capabilities.
- Design, build, and operate APIs, content services, backend-for-frontend layers, and other services supporting the web platform.
- Take complex and ambiguous problems from analysis through architecture and production with limited direction.
- Own and advance multiple projects as priorities change.
- Develop rules, skills, and tooling that help AI coding agents produce consistent and secure code.
- Review code and mentor engineers, including designers who are new to shipping code.
- Partner with product teams to help them adopt the frontend platform and improve delivery speed.
Requirements
- Extensive experience building production web applications with TypeScript and React, plus backend services such as Node.js.
- Experience designing APIs and services, including data modeling, authentication, performance, and observability.
- Track record of architecting solutions to complex problems and learning new technologies quickly.
- Ability to switch context across multiple projects and own outcomes end to end.
- Hands-on experience with AI coding tools and a perspective on their impact on engineering work.
- Degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
