Responsibilities
- Lead system development and engineering for highly complex programs.
- Coordinate coding, testing, debugging, workflow analysis, and integration of complex solutions.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and consultant on business solutions, process improvements, technology enhancements, and enterprise standards.
- Provide leadership, training, mentoring, root-cause analysis, solution guidance, and problem-solving support to engineers and other technology areas.
- Coordinate company resources to integrate products, processes, applications, and complex solutions.
- Participate in project proposals, estimates, proof-of-concept activities, code reviews, and industry knowledge groups.
- Monitor adherence to development standards and maintain awareness of industry best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field plus at least five years of development experience, or nine years of related and applicable experience.
- Strong software development experience with technologies such as Angular, NodeJS, TypeScript, C++, .NET, Java, and SQL.
- Demonstrated experience with software development lifecycle methodologies, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and creative technical solution development.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to coach and mentor team members, lead diverse development teams, and work effectively with stakeholders and global staffing models.
- Preferred experience with Agile teams, global staffing vendors, Apache Kafka, AWS cloud services, AWS Lambda, API Gateway, SNS, SQS, Kinesis, EventBridge, CloudWatch, IAM, AWS CDK, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, TypeScript, relational and NoSQL databases, and HROR.
- Experience building streaming and event-driven solutions, scalable integration services, microservices, and infrastructure as code is preferred.
