Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Drive the architectural vision for resilient, large-scale production systems.
- Lead strategic automation to eliminate systemic toil and improve platform efficiency.
- Lead crisis management, deep-dive root-cause analysis, and system-wide outage prevention strategies.
- Define and govern secure, multi-cloud Infrastructure as Code strategy and maturity roadmaps.
- Establish organization-wide SLOs and drive accountability for reliability and error-budget compliance.
- Mentor SRE talent and scale SRE culture across engineering teams.
- Own capacity forecasting, cost optimization, and FinOps strategy for core infrastructure.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
- At least 10 years of experience driving cross-organizational reliability strategy and defining multi-year technical roadmaps.
- At least 8 years of experience in global cloud architecture, optimization, and financial or security governance across AWS, Microsoft Azure, and GCP.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Four or more years of experience defining and driving organization-wide IaC and CI/CD strategies preferred.
- Expertise in complex, high-scale distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, Kubernetes, and serverless architectures.
- Experience with SRE adoption, observability, metrics-driven SLO frameworks, Zero Trust, and Secrets Management.
- Experience with Generative AI or Headless AI for operations automation, code quality, or operational workflows.
- Strategic executive-level communication skills and deep systems programming expertise preferred.

- Full-time annual salary range of $229,900-$262,400 for the McLean, Virginia location, excluding performance-based incentives.
