Responsibilities
- Install, upgrade, configure, and support SCADA and Production Optimization Systems.
- Build screens, workflows, reports, utilities, and batch-scheduling enhancements for customer operations.
- Integrate applications and support third-party application rollouts based on business needs.
- Debug programs and scripts, perform root-cause analysis, and correct or escalate software issues.
- Troubleshoot SCADA hardware, RTUs, PLCs, radio communications, and related software issues.
- Interact with customers to understand and resolve product problems.
- Train users in system usage and administration.
- Provide technical documentation, reports, stakeholder communication, and field support.
Requirements
- Experience with SQL Server Management.
- Experience deploying and debugging enterprise software in Microsoft environments.
- Strong debugging knowledge of C#, SQL, and PowerShell.
- Experience with ETL techniques and tools and with application integration.
- Exposure to open-source analytics and software support.
- Experience troubleshooting and diagnosing hardware and software problems.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Server OS, Windows programming, Windows administration, web security, authentication, and authorization.
- Experience with SCADA, MODBUS, OPC, MQTT, RTUs, PLCs, and communications configuration and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
- Experience in the oil and gas industry, including production and artificial lift, is relevant.
- Valid driver’s license required.
