Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain UI-focused automated test suites using Selenium, Playwright, and Cucumber.
- Create and execute automated tests across web applications, APIs, databases, backend systems, batch processing, and data integrations.
- Translate business and technical requirements into test scenarios, test data requirements, test strategies, and risk mitigation plans.
- Lead test planning, execution, defect management, status reporting, and release validation across project phases.
- Collaborate with developers, business stakeholders, product owners, and global delivery teams to improve test coverage and software quality.
- Support quality engineering practices, automation framework development, and quality metrics improvement.
Requirements
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in quality engineering and test automation across the software development life cycle.
- Proven expertise in Selenium and/or Playwright for UI test automation.
- Experience with Cucumber or equivalent BDD and test automation frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with API testing, REST service validation, and integration testing.
- Experience with Oracle database testing, SQL validation, and data reconciliation.
- Strong experience with Jira for test management, defect tracking, and Agile delivery support.
- Working knowledge of Git, Jenkins, Bitbucket, and CI/CD practices.
- Experience leading QA efforts across distributed onshore and offshore teams is preferred.
- Experience implementing scalable Playwright automation solutions and improving automation coverage and quality metrics is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum and sprint-based delivery models is preferred.
