Base Salary
$120k - $304k/yr
Responsibilities
- Ship AI-powered Copilot experiences used by millions of people.
- Collaborate with AI researchers, product managers, designers, and engineers to build a world-class AI companion.
- Design and build efficient, reusable frontend systems for complex web applications.
- Plan and deploy the frontend infrastructure needed to build, test, and deploy products.
- Prioritize performant, high-quality user experiences and contribute to a collaborative, inclusive engineering culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical discipline and 4+ years of software engineering experience building web products at scale, including coding in TypeScript and React, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of experience, or a master’s degree and 8+ years of experience, or equivalent experience.
- Experience shipping and learning quickly while maintaining a high quality bar is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional partners and navigate ambiguity is preferred.
- Strong user-centric product development judgment and the technical expertise to implement those solutions are preferred.
Benefits
- This U.S. Mountain View position requires being local to the San Francisco area and working in the office four days per week.
- Beginning January 26, 2026, employees living within 50 miles of a designated U.S. Microsoft office are expected to work from that office at least four days per week, subject to local law and jurisdiction.
