Responsibilities
- Shape the architecture and technical direction of Redgate Monitor.
- Own significant and ambiguous projects from start to finish while balancing strategic planning with predictable delivery.
- Design and build scalable, resilient, and secure systems using modern .NET and C#.
- Improve product performance and deliver features that help customers manage database environments.
- Raise the wider team’s technical capability through mentoring, coaching, code review, and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with engineers, product designers, product managers, architects, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in modern .NET and C#.
- Ability to weigh technical trade-offs and future implications when designing systems.
- Consistent approach to unit testing and code review.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
- Experience working collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Experience working in an agile development environment and flexibility to learn new technologies.
