Base Salary

$140k - $180k/yr

Responsibilities

Build and own core full-stack product features, from data models through user interfaces.
Translate legal workflows and review playbooks into production-grade software with attorneys and AI engineers.
Make pragmatic architecture and tooling decisions balancing near-term speed with future scalability.
Write maintainable production-quality code and take complete ownership of shipped work.
Help define engineering culture, standards, and hiring practices as the company grows.
Drive customer-facing features through completion with a customer-first mindset.

1–3 years of experience building and shipping production software, ideally at an early-stage company or as a founder.
Strong full-stack ability with TypeScript, React, a modern backend stack, and relational databases.
Hands-on experience building with AI and LLMs through professional or personal projects.
Experience owning features end to end from conception through production deployment.
Ability to work effectively in ambiguous, fast-moving, high-ownership environments with minimal process.
Product instincts, an entrepreneurial mindset, strong judgment, communication skills, and a high standard for code quality and reliability.
Experience working directly with domain experts to translate complex workflows into software is preferred.
Background in legal tech, contract management, or document processing is preferred.
Familiarity with modern DevOps, CI/CD, and production monitoring practices is preferred.

$140,000–$180,000 annual salary and available equity as part of the total compensation package.
Full-time, on-site role based in San Francisco, California.
In-person attendance six days per week is expected.
