Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end solution architecture across Telecom BSS domains including Order Management, Charging, Billing, Payments, and Revenue Management.
- Define BSS transformation and modernization strategies, including migration from legacy systems to next-generation digital architectures.
- Assess legacy applications, analyze dependencies, and plan rationalization, remediation, and decommissioning.
- Architect billing ecosystems covering charging, invoicing, payments, dunning, collections, and revenue assurance.
- Design integration architecture across BSS, OSS, and third-party systems using API-led and event-driven approaches.
- Lead solution design and blueprinting aligned with TM Forum ODA, eTOM, and Open APIs.
- Conduct business process modeling, gap analysis, and solution design for telecom transformation programs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to improve customer journeys and digital experiences in BSS environments.
- Drive architecture governance and Agile-based delivery alignment across business and delivery teams.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in the Telecom IT/BSS domain.
- At least 8 years of experience with billing and revenue management systems.
- Strong experience in solution architecture and large-scale telecom transformation programs.
- Deep expertise in billing, charging, invoicing, CRM, CPQ, order management, revenue assurance, payments, and collections.
- Hands-on experience with billing transformations, migrations, product catalogs, pricing management, mediation, rating, invoicing, and settlement systems.
- Experience with BSCS or similar enterprise billing platforms.
- Experience with legacy system rationalization, decommissioning, cloud-native or microservices-based modernization, and dependency planning.
- Knowledge of TM Forum architecture frameworks, including ODA, eTOM, and Open APIs.
- Experience with SOA, REST/SOAP APIs, ESBs, API gateways, and event-driven architecture such as Kafka.
- Experience across B2B, B2C, and wholesale telecom segments.
- Preferred certifications include TOGAF, TM Forum certifications, and SAFe or Agile certifications.
- Cloud transformation experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP is preferred.
- Global telecom transformation experience across EU, UK, or Australian markets is preferred.
- Strong architecture governance, leadership, stakeholder engagement, client engagement, and complex transformation delivery skills.
